Dive
SAFE Boats can be designed for customers with a dive capability in mind. This can be for military, commercial, law enforcement, research or even recreational use. Many SAFE Boats are manufactured with a multi-mission capability as part of the specifications, which can include dive mission requirements.
Examples of features that define a dive vessel are:
- Hydraulically actuating drop bows and/or sterns
- Dive ladders
- Dive tank securing systems
- Personnel wash-down systems
- Specialized equipment tie-downs
- Diver recovery systems
- Wet-gear closets
- Stokes litter benches for patient recovery
- Davit systems
- Deck seating configurations to accommodate personnel and equipment, etc.
- Underwater dive lights
