from Norseman Marine products Inc. of Port Orchard, WA. SAFE Boats International is the
only legal manufacturer of foam stabilized water craft in all of North America. This
patented system allows only SAFE Boats to utilize a full sized foam collar for flotation,
stability, and fendering.
Many manufacturers use a pneumatic tube susceptible to deflation and catastrophic failure.
Some of these tubes are enclosed in a nylon or cloth sheath with as many as three different
components which require excessive maintenance and costly repairs to maintain air holding
capabilities. SAFE Boats sponson repair can be made by an inexperienced boater within hours
rather than days or weeks.
The collar foam used by SAFE Boats was designed to insulate the Alaska oil-pipeline and is
impervious to petroleum products and other solvents.
