2006 SAFE 38’ Full Cabin / Defender w/ Quad 275HP Verados

Here we have a 38’ Full Cabin Defender. The vessel is in like-new condition complete with Quad 275hp Mercury Verados, XDR-2 Collar system and capable of attaining speeds at upwards of 60 MPH. It’s fully outfitted and ready to go with only 185 hours of run time. There is seating for eight in a spacious cabin with a large forward berthing area, sheer deck and 10’ beam.

She was used primarily as a Demo Vessel and has just returned back from a European Tour. With uses ranging from Law Enforcement to sport fishing she is a very versatile platform that would make any owner proud. Nav package is Furuno with David Clark internal comm system.

If we were to build her today she would sell in the mid-$500’s. This is the largest and fastest pre-owned vessel that we've sold to date. 2007 SAFE 23’ Center Console / T-top w/ twin Honda 150’s.

This boat should do over 45mph depending on fuel, crew, gear, etc. She has 245 hours on her. She is an 8’6” wide beam and was built with reinforcements in the bow so she could be towed behind a yacht if need be. There is seating for 3 in the bow, 2 shock mitigating seats at the helm, and another 2 (or more) on the aft lockers, plus standing room with all kinds of hand rails.

She was driven as a tender/ fishing boat 3 months out of the year and garaged the rest of the time. The current owner kept the boat well-maintained and the vessel is currently "like-new". If this boat was bid for and built today, she would close at around $200k.

The other thing is there just aren’t any used SAFE boats out there for sale, let alone one outfitted for a private owner with all the bells and whistles and taken care of like this. It just might be the right fit at the right time if you want to bypass the wait time and extra $75k for one brand new.
