Aluminum Welder - Bremerton

Now Hiring - Intermediate to Advanced Aluminum Welders wanted to join our Team. The ideal candidate will be able to use hand-welding equipment to primarily MIG and sometimes TIG weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products to create SAFE Boats! Buyer Procurement

The Buyer is a member of the Materials Team. As such, the Buyer will, along with other team members, purchase production inventory, commodities, machinery, equipment, tools, supplies, and services necessary so support the operation of the business. Respond to Customer phone and E mail inquires with regards to the sale of spare and replacement components. Analyze past buying trends, sales records, price, and quality of merchandise to determine best value. Select suppliers, order product, and authorize payment for merchandise according to contractual agreements. Maintain current pricing and ordering information on system. Provide order status and attend various Production meetings as required. Welder Helper - Bremerton

Under Direct supervission, this position ensures that the proper parts and materials are set up to be welded within the production environment and maintains standards as set-forth in the SBI Production System.  The welder helper maintains and facilitates timely production of parts requested by Boat Leads, Water Striders and Fabrication supervisor, using an array of different tools, referring to the boat build books, and shop drawings. Marine Systems Installer

Responsible for the installation of electrical and mechanical components on SAFE Boats products. Installs inboard diesel engines and jet drives, along with associated cables and wiring. Installs fuel systems and filters. Fabricates and installs main and auxiliary wiring harnesses.

Aluminum Welder - Tacoma

Under limited supervision, operates welding equipment using appropriate GMAW techniques to weld aluminum plate and extrusion in all positions, occasionally in a confined space. Prepares weldments using tool such as saws, routers, grinders, pneumatic cutting tool, wire brushes and various hand tools of the trade. Basic interpretation of blue prints, drawing, welds symbols and schedules to layout patterns on material. Performs tack welding in the fabrication phase of construction and the Pre-fab of sub-assemblies such as bulkheads, girders, decks and pilot house using jigs and fixtures. The operation of overhead cranes, forklifts, man lifts and other boat building equipment. Secures small parts for assembly & welding, keeps work area professionally neat and secure.

Industrial Maintenance Technician

Under limited supervision the Facilities Maintenance Technician will to set-up and conduct preventive maintenance, installations, upgrades, trouble shooting and repair of industrial machinery and other related equipment.
